Grey haired blonde moment…explain this sorcery. I've always crawled the Index when the catalog is jacked. What is this ninja alchemy of which you speak?

Gotcha…I avoid Tor like chiggers unless I have to. If you're in hostile territory, I understand. Since both my friends and my foes literally know exactly who I am and where I live and what I type, and remind a few times a week, I just say screw it and roll clearnet with a clearly comp'd VPN.
So, for me the Index is faster in the clear…when I'm in Tor hell, I'll try your method.
If you're in Tor hell, check your .hosts file, mine had spook droppings in it that once I cleaned out, things got much faster and clearnet resolved on all browsers, where before that it was Tor only.
