Holy fuck though…I never realized D day was originally supposed to be on June 5th, and was postponed a day because of shitty weather…

>Eisenhower had tentatively selected 5 June as the date for the assault.

Pres misspoke June 5 for Jan 5….

June 5 was original date for D-day,

>Eisenhower decided that the invasion should go ahead on the 6th.[45] A major storm battered the Normandy coast from 19 to 22 June, which would have made the beach landings impossible.

major storm came to Normandy 14-17 days after D-day.

If Jan 5 is D-day, the storm comes Jan 19-Jan 22???
