When you pressed the keyboard hard (because you often had to) the expansion memory would jiggle and everything would go tits up. Itโ€™s was better without the additional 1k. But those were the days - computing for rugged pioneers who could convert Z80 assembly language to machine code by hand โ€ฆ

Youโ€™re so right! Admittedly there wasnโ€™t a lot of it to understand. But it was so limited that one had no choice but to learn how everything worked at a deep level, including the entire processor instruction set.
