Babylon is the corrupt spirit we ALL dwell in at natural birth. It’s man first fall, when we follow a corrupt thought and express it in outward visible fashion towards others. That expression is referred to as the works of mans’ hand. Every man is given according to their works. So if we follow a corrupt word/thought (impatience, greed, unkindness, etc) then we prove it by what we do towards others, and when we prove our faith in the corrupt word we are given that same corrupt spirit to dwell in that we thought on to start. That spirit is Babylon. Isaiah 14 says it all when he talks about Adam/Eve fall from the garden.
But that’s just the first fall, when we rise up and try to take the place of the Most High God. The second fall is when the Lord comes into our life and remove us from the position by replacing us with him. When the Lord appears in our lives, we fall as he is resurrected in us.
So the fall of Babylon happens twice. The first fall is up, the second fall is down. “Babylon is fallen, fallen.” <——
