California DAs Blast Gov. Gavin Newsom's Apathetic Response to $1 Billion Prisoner COVID Benefit Scam

Frustrated California district attorneys are sounding the alarm about Governor Gavin Newsom’s apathetic response to the California prisoner unemployment scam that’s bilked state taxpayers out more than $1 billion dollars of COVID-19 relief funds. Nine DAs sent the governor a second letter which reveals the governor’s inaction on what could be the “biggest fraud of taxpayer dollars in California history.”

The district attorneys from nine of California’s largest counties recently called out the governor in an attempt to get him to respond to the huge scam that saw some of the worst criminals at San Quentin, such as murderer Scott Peterson, get $20,000 each in COVID related unemployment benefits. There’s so much fraud and there are so few checks and balances in the Employment Development Department program that PJ Media recently reported about a one-year-old baby receiving unemployment benefits.

Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert and others held a news conference days ago to apply more pressure on the governor to address the unprecedented prison scam.

It includes rapists and child molesters, human traffickers and other violent criminals in our state prisons. It is perhaps and will be the biggest fraud of taxpayer dollars in California history. We need to turn off the spigot. Right now there is no cross-matching between the incarceration data and EDD [the Employmetn Developent Department] on a routine basis like it’s done in 35 other states.

Newsom’s lack of action on the issue and the DAs calling it out are sending secondary shockwaves.

In addition to Sacramento’s district attorney, the DAs from Ventura, San Diego, Fresno, El Dorado, Monterey, Lassen, Marin, and Riverside Counties signed a second letter outlining the “staggering” extent of the rip-off and strongly requested the governor get with the program to go after the criminals.

The letter claims that no one in Newsom’s administration tipped off the DAs to the huge scam. They had to rely on information from federal subpoenas from a federal task force looking into it.

It is unfortunate that law enforcement and prosecutors were not notified by any state agency of this pervasive fraud and had to rely on federal subpoenas to get the information. It was not until November 12, 2020, that the CDCR data with EDD claims was provided to the statewide task force. This data was provided in response to a federal Department of Labor subpoena served on CDCR in September. This information came to us from the federal government and not from the State of California, which had been previously provided with the data.

Within a matter of days, the statewide task force reviewed the data and found the staggering scope of the fraud. Earlier this week, we learned from media reports that the California Department of Labor set the inmate fraud at $400 million. We also received unverified information that EDD has distributed at least $1 billion dollars to out-of-state claimants. We are deeply concerned that the fraud will continue to grow exponentially.

Nancy Pelosi to Lead High-Priced Fundraiser for Democrats Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will fundraise Monday for Georgia Senate Democrat candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

Former Baltimore County Executive Ted Venetoulis said Monday that Pelosi will headline a fundraiser Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET for the pivotal Georgia Senate runoffs.

Venetoulis said, “Everyone in town, certainly Democrats in town and others want to help. Everyone realizes how critical it is to the Biden administration to be able to secure their policies and programs.”

Other prominent Democrats such as House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Baltimore Mayor-elect Brandon Scott, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Sens. Ben Cardin (D-MD), and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) will join the fundraiser for Warnock and Ossoff.

The flyer for the fundraiser has suggested giving starting at $500 and up to $15,6000.

Venetoulis added that the Democrats’ fundraising would boost the candidates’ ground game in Georgia.

“Getting the vote out is the critical element there. You need financial resources to do that,” he said.

Venetoulis said, “The more money they can get from outside of the district, which is essentially what the Republicans are doing, the more they can invest in their ground game and in their own campaign. It is critical.”

Pelosi’s fundraising for Ossoff and Warnock follows as the leading House Democrat faces a shrinking majority. Republicans managed to flip roughly net ten seats in the House.

The Georgia Senate runoffs play a critical role in the battle for control of the Senate majority. If both Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Perdue (R-GA) lose in January, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the likely next vice president, becomes the tie breaking vote in the Senate. This would likely make Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) the next Senate majority leader.

John Burke, the communications director for the Perdue campaign, said in a statement on Monday that Pelosi believes that a win for Ossoff and Warnock would give Pelosi and Schumer the votes to pass a leftist agenda in Congress:

Kellyville High School deputy principal accusing of arranging to meet, pay child for sex

The deputy principal at a high school in Sydney’s leafy northwest is accused of trying to meet and pay a 14-year-old girl for sex.

The deputy principal at a high school in Sydney’s northwest has been charged after allegedly trying to groom a child for sex.

Damian Wanstall, the deputy principal at Kellyville High School, was arrested in Westmead on Monday, accused of engaging in sexually explicit conversations with a person he thought was a 14-year-old girl – but was actually detectives from NSW Police.

It is alleged he tried to arrange to meet and pay the girl for sex.

Officers searched a home in Rouse Hill later on Monday where they seized several items including a laptop and an electronic storage device.

Mr Wanstall, 47, was taken to Granville Police Station and charged with using a carriage service to procure a child under 16 years for sexual activity and using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material.

He was refused bail and will front Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday.

Mr Wanstall had worked at the school for almost a decade.

Police will address the media later on Tuesday with more information.

Cornell Offers Minority Students Exemption from Mandatory Vaccine

Cornell University offers minority students an exemption from its flu vaccine requirement, citing the United States' "longstanding systemic racism and health inequities" as justification.

Cornell's health-requirement guidelines, which were first reported by Campus Reform, mandate that students studying on campus receive a flu vaccination. The university offers an exemption, however, for "students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or as a Person of Color" and have concerns about being required to take the vaccine.

The university cited current and historical systemic racism as an acceptable reason for minority students to seek an exemption.

"It is understandable that the current Compact requirements may feel suspect or even exploitative to some BIPOC members of the Cornell community," a university outline of the exemption reads. "Additionally, recent acts of violence against Black people by law enforcement may contribute to feelings of distrust or powerlessness."

While the university urges minority students to comply with the flu vaccine requirement to protect their health and that of others in the community, the health guidelines provide contact information for students who "may know the science and still feel distrusting of health care" to request an exemption.

The only other specifically outlined exception from the flu vaccine requirement is for medical or religious reasons. Nonexempt students who arrive on campus without the required vaccinations "will have a temporary hold placed on their registration status," according to Cornell Health. If Cornell finds them to be noncompliant, they will be charged a fee and "dis-enrolled from the university."

Border Patrol Finds 200 Migrants Being Smuggled in Commercial Trailers

LAREDO, TEXAS – In spite of the dangers, Border Patrol agents from two checkpoints apprehended large numbers of individuals during two failed human smuggling attempts into the United States.

The first incident occurred during the mid-evening of December 4, when a tractor-trailer approached the checkpoint west of Freer, Texas. During an immigration inspection of the driver, a Service canine alerted to the trailer. At secondary inspection, agents discovered 138 individuals tightly concealed inside the trailer. They were determined to be illegally present in the United States from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. The individuals along with the driver, a U.S. citizen, were taken into custody pending investigation.

The second incident occurred on the evening of December 5, when a tractor-trailer approached the I-35 checkpoint. The driver failed to stop at primary inspection, but ultimately complied with agents’ commands to stop. A subsequent non-intrusive scan of the vehicle revealed anomalies in the trailer. When the trailer was opened, 80 individuals were discovered crammed inside from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. They were placed under arrest pending investigation by Homeland Security Investigation. U.S. Border Patrol seized the tractor and trailer. Over 200 Individuals Being Smuggled in Commercial Trailers

In both incidences, most of the 218 individuals were not wearing any personal protective equipment (PPE). All subjects were medically evaluated for their safety and none required medical attention.

Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak stated, “These two cases illustrate the dangerous amount of human smuggling using large commercial vehicles. These vehicles are not made to carry people, putting the aliens at risk of life threatening injury and offer no protection from COVID-19 or other infectious diseases.”

2 Former Pfizer top Executives Issue Stay Motion to EU Medicine Agency Warning “Vaccines Could Cause Permanent Infertility”

Former Pfizer head of respiratory research, Dr. Michael Yeadon, and the former head of the public health department, Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, have filed a petition for a stay of action asking the European Medicine Agency to suspend phase III of the clinical trials for Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and all other clinical trials. They site “significant” safety concerns and request all trials are halted until specific criteria outlined in their stay action is met which will ensure efficiency and safety.

Yeadon and Wodarg claim that it’s not only possible the vaccine could provoke serious unwanted antibody and immune reactions, but it must be “absolutely ruled out” that the vaccine would not render women infertile by disrupting their placentas, should they become pregnant.

The grounds of the statement further states:

“…without the requested stay, the Petitioner and many EU residents/citizens will suffer irreparable harm, (ii) the request is not frivolous and is being pursued in good faith, (iii) the request demonstrates sound public policy, and (iv) the public interest favors granting a stay.”

“If the vaccines are not properly tested, important public policy decisions regarding its use will be based on misleading evidence. The medical and economic consequences to EU member states and their residents/citizens could hardly be higher.”

Further it goes on to warn about the potential of the vaccine preventing “the formation of a placenta which would result in vaccinated women essentially becoming infertile”

Considering the serious possible side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines, it is critically important it is determined that they are safe before the public is widely expected, and coerce, to be vaccinated.

Since the CDC and agencies in other countries are moving towards sweeping new vaccine requirements, it would be grossly negligent to mandate these vaccines on the unsuspecting public without ensuring that these vaccines are not worse than the virus itself.

Republican Arizona Legislators Call For Decertification of False Election Results

Arizona Republicans on Monday called for the decertification of their state’s false election results.

Last week RINO of all RINOs Governor Doug Ducey signed off on the certification of Arizona’s false election results while Trump’s legal team appeared before House and Senate members.

Last week Arizona Rep. Mark Finchem issued a call to withhold the state’s Electoral College votes for Joe Biden because “he believes there is enough significant evidence of fraud to invalidate the state’s votes.”

Finchem also blasted Doug Ducey.

“I believe Doug Ducey signed a fraudulent document and he knew it!,” Finchem said.

Arizona House Majority Leader Warren Petersen released a statement Sunday night ahead of Monday’s press conference: “The election should not have been certified with the number of irregularities and allegations of fraud. Especially troubling to me are the allegations surrounding the vendor Dominion,” Petersen said in the press release. “It is imperative that a forensic audit occur immediately of the equipment and software. Upon any showing of fraud the legislature should immediately convene to decertify the vote.”

More than two dozen Republicans came out on Monday and called for the “urgent need” to decertify Arizona’s false election results.

Corporate Media Silence Deafening as Former Clinton Aide Confirms Ties to Jeffrey Epstein

A top Clinton insider has revealed that the former president visited the Caribbean home of notorious sex predator Jeffrey Epstein. In a long interview last week with Vanity Fair, longtime aide to Bill Clinton, Doug Band, noted that, contrary to the official line, his boss did indeed spend time on Little Saint James, the private island that the billionaire pedophile used as a base to traffick and rape women and children.

Neither Band nor his interviewer appeared to realize the gravity of what he was revealing, the subject being touched upon only briefly towards the end of a wide-ranging 7,000-word conversation in which he noted that in January 2003, Clinton flew on Epstein’s notorious “Lolita Express” private jet to the island. Band appeared to bring the incident up only as a way of distancing himself from the disgraced pedophile, who died under mysterious circumstances in a Manhattan prison in July last year. Band insisted that he knew nothing of Epstein’s misdeeds, but “got enough bad vibes that he advised Clinton to end the relationship,” refusing to travel aboard Epstein’s jet with his employer. Flight logs show Clinton made around two dozen trips on the infamous airplane.

Band is certainly a source in the know. For years he served as Clinton’s most trusted aide and confidant, traveling by his side and arranging his appointments for him. The former president famously did not carry even a cellphone, meaning that everyone from journalists to even Hillary and Chelsea Clinton would have had to go through Band to speak to him.

Band’s testimony adds weight to others who have already said they saw him on the island. Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre previously stated that Clinton “strolled into” Epstein’s private villa with “two lovely girls” in his arms. “There was no modesty between any of them,” she said. “I remember asking Jeffrey what’s Bill Clinton doing here,” Giuffre said in an interview earlier this year, “and he laughed it off and said ‘well he owes me a favor.’” Epstein’s former IT and maintenance contractor also said he saw the former president on the island, an assertion that Clinton has denied. The former president was also photographed receiving a massage from Epstein victim Chauntae Davies while at an airport, on route via the Lolita Express.

While the press might be forgiven for focussing more on the pandemic and the election, the virtual silence from corporate media has been deafening. The bombshell that Clinton’s closest confidant — whom friends describe as being like a “son” to him — has been totally ignored by the New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News, MSNBC, CBS News, and CNN, with no relevant results appearing in searches on their websites. ABC News, which for three years sat on information that could have resulted in an arrest, also did not cover the story.

It was therefore left to more Republican-aligned, anti-Democrat media to play it up, the news appearing in conservative outlets like the Daily Wire, Fox News, and the New York Post. Unfortunately, this reinforces a partisan understanding of the Epstein case. Earlier this year, a MintPress study of one year of Epstein coverage on MSNBC and Fox News found intensely partisan coverage of the predator’s ties to Presidents Trump and Clinton. While MSNBC stressed his connections to the Republicans and downplayed his links to their preferred president, Fox News did the opposite, overwhelmingly focusing on the Clinton connections while failing to inform viewers about his relationship with the sitting president.

Sidney Powell To Appeal Dismissal Of Georgia Lawsuit

The legal team led by former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell will appeal the dismissal of the election lawsuit tossed by a federal judge on Monday.

Powell told The Epoch Times in an email that they “will proceed as fast as possible to the Supreme Court.”

U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Batten dismissed Powell’s lawsuit on Dec. 7, opining that the plaintiffs have no standing to sue, should have brought the lawsuit to a state court, and had filed the case too late.

“There’s no question that Georgia has a statute that explicitly directs that elections contests be filed in Georgia Superior Court,” Batten, an appointee of President George Bush, said in explaining his decision following an hour of oral arguments in court on Monday. “They are state elections. State courts should evaluate these proceedings from start to finish.”

Batten signaled his skepticism about the lawsuit at the opening of the hearing, choosing some of the talking points emphasized by the defendants to introduce the case.

Powell filed the lawsuit on Nov. 25 on behalf of the presidential electors for President Donald Trump. One of the core allegations of the lawsuit concerns election machines and software by Dominion Voting Systems. The lawsuit cited several affiants to claim that the Dominion machines were manipulated to illegally alter the outcome of the Nov. 3 election.

“Their primary complaint involves the Dominion ballot marking devices. They say that those machines are susceptible to fraud. There’s no reason they could not have followed the administrative procedure act to object to the rulemaking authority that had been exercised by the secretary of state. This suit could have been filed months ago when the machines were adopted,” Batten said.

Plaintiffs asked the court to decertify the results of the election, a remedy the judge deemed extraordinary.

Powell also alleged the existence of several other categories of potentially illegal votes, each sufficient to dispute the outcome of the election. She disagreed with the argument that the plaintiffs do not have standing or brought the suit too late.

“For those reasons we request the court to deny the motion to dismiss, allow us a few days, perhaps even just five, to conduct an examination of the machines that we have requested from the beginning and find out exactly what went on and give the court further evidence it might want to rule in our favor because the fraud that has happened here has destroyed any public confidence that the will of the people is reflected in their vote and just simply cannot stand,” Powell said in closing her argument.

DNI Ratcliffe Says Election 'Issues' Must Be Resolved Before Winner Declared

The top U.S. intelligence official suggested on Sunday that election lawsuits and other issues need to be resolved first before the winner of the Nov. 3 presidential election is declared.

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told Fox Business that issues brought up by President Donald Trump’s legal team have to be heard in court.

“These election issues, we’ll see who is in what seats and whether there is a Biden administration,” he told the broadcaster.

Ratcliffe said that due to the unprecedented expansion of mail-in voting, many questions remain about the results.

“Essentially we had universal mail-in balloting across this country in a way we hadn’t seen before, and to that point, almost 73 percent of the American people this year voted before Election Day, a good percentage of those by mail,” he said.

“That’s about an 80 percent increase over anything we’ve ever seen before, so it’s little wonder that we see what’s happening around the country as a result of that, with mail-in balloting and all of the questions—and the questions that are being raised in lawsuits and by everyday Americans about what happened in the election,” Ratcliffe said.

In the interview Sunday, Ratcliffe made note of allegations that were brought up in recent days, including a truck driver who claimed to have transported hundreds of thousands of apparently completed mail-in ballots from a town in Long Island, New York, to Pennsylvania. He also referred to recent footage obtained by Trump’s team that shows election workers pulling out black, suitcase-like ballot containers from beneath a table after poll observers and other election workers were apparently told to go home for the night at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

“But people need to understand that’s different than election fraud issues—things like postal drivers saying they took 200,000-plus ballots from New York to Pennsylvania. Tens of thousands of ballots supposedly mailed in, but no folds or creases in them. More votes than ballots issued in places,” the intelligence chief said.

“People pulling out suitcases and video evidence of that with questionable explanations for that. Those are issues of election fraud that need to be investigated and there’s a lot of them and it’s not just one person or one group of people. It’s across the country.”

Georgia election officials said the video showing containers being pulled from the table is not unusual, while Trump’s team said it is evidence of fraud. Officials in Fulton County, Georgia, and election officials have provided conflicting accounts of what happened on the night of Nov. 3, with one Fulton County spokesperson, Regina Waller, telling ABC News and other outlets at 11:30 p.m. on Election Night that vote counting was done for the night.

Later that week, other Fulton County officials confirmed that counting had continued for several hours longer. Georgia’s Republican Party chief, David Shafer, has said that poll observers were not present during this time period. As a result, Ratcliffe said numerous Americans don’t believe “the votes were counted fairly, that the processes at the state and local level weren’t administered fairly.”

China Spreading Misinformation About COVID's Origins As WHO Investigation Lingers

Something strange is going on at the New York Times, in that the paper all of a sudden seems keen on digging hard into the truth about the origins about Covid-19. In fact, as of last week, CNN appears to be doing the same.

This weekend the Times published a lengthy piece that looked into how China is peddling different stories to try and cover up the origins of the Covid pandemic. These efforts come as the World Health Organization readies an investigation into how the virus jumped from animals to humans.

In addition to reporting on China's misinformation, the piece also seemed to lend credence to the idea that the "official narrative" out of China (that got us banned from Twitter for some time) may not be the gospel the mainstream media once thought it was.

The NYT refutes deflections from China, where officials are now blaming everybody but themselves as the culprit for Covid. The article noted that "state news media has published false stories misrepresenting foreign experts" in order to suggest the virus came from outside of China.

One non-peer reviewed paper from the state run Chinese Academy of Sciences suggested that India could be to blame. It states: “Wuhan is not the place where human-to-human SARS-CoV-2 transmission first happened.” The paper was submitted to, and then mysteriously pulled by its authors from The Lancet.

The country is also pushing a narrative that frozen food from other countries could have started the pandemic. Wu Zunyou, the chief epidemiologist at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention said recently: “More and more evidence suggests that the frozen seafood or meat products probably spread the virus from countries with the epidemic into our country.”

But experts have said "packaged food alone cannot explain why the first major outbreak took place in Wuhan."

Erin Baggott Carter, an assistant professor of political science at the University of Southern California, said the misinformation is to try and skirt blame, plain and simple. She said: “If Xi is able to escape blame for the coronavirus, that reduces one major source of discontent with his rule.”
