He grew up a Jew. But his first advent was as the "Messiah ben Joseph". If you recall the story of Joseph and his brothers. Joseph was beat up and left for dead, and rescued, only to rise up later as a ruler of Egypt. He was so "Egyptian" like at that point that when his later saw him, they didn't recognize him.
Jesus second advent will be as the "Messiah ben Judah". Fully recognized as the Jewish King he always was, and not merely for Gentiles like he is now.
