There’s a scheme/mechanism already in place to achieve this, it’s called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. It’s flying under everyone’s radar because the lefties are trying to ram it thru the state legislatures.

It’s actually quite clever, with the way they’re side stepping the Constitution, they’re getting the states to agree to have their Electors vote not on their home states’ popular vote winner, but the national popular vote winner( ie elections will be determined by illegal votes in CA.)

The agreement is not due to kick in until the lefties get a total of 270 Electoral College votes from states legislatures who pass the bill. The total # of electors that states have pledged to the compact: 165
