Question anon's… I don't wear my mask… Ever… Work in a high exposure field… We have an extensive policy for quarantine, testing, and return to work after an exposure.
In the beginning I refused to take tests and have yet to do so. I believed the numbers were being padded and didn't want to contribute.
Side-note, both my parents are in their 60s and both tested positive. My mom found my dad unconscious with what she called blue lips and was diaphoretic today. She got him to wake up, he puked, and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. They released him within 2 hours and said he was hypotensive… I agree it's a "bad flu" and have virtually zero concern for my wife and daughter in the long run since we're healthy and young. Prayers requested for my father please!
Back to my question… I'm supposed to be tested because of an exposure with a positive co-worker. I'm refusing and they're disallowing me to work for 10 days even though I have no symptoms and feel amazing unless I get tested. I'm not getting tested, but I'm struggling to identify any rational reason to not get tested if I ever do develop any flu-like symptoms.
My only thoughts are to not pad their numbers, no single strain flu test has ever been done, so why now, and lastly, the tests are still shoddy at best.
I won't do the 23 and me BS because of muh china, I won't wear a mask because of the mark of the beast idea, my body my choice, and a vaccine is out of the question… But the test, I'm on the fence and I don't like it. Hope I'm not getting soft
