The Christian world doesn't revolve around the Vatican, as much as they'd like to think that. There's a whole other side of the planet besides Rome, y'know? Mary is revered in Egypt (Coptic Church), Armenia, all Orthodox (Greek/Slavic) churches, all churches of Arabia or Syria (Orthodox), etc..

That's not deification. If you're a Catholic, you'd know it's the Communion of Saints in general. Not a single person. But a communication to all of heaven. And you don't "pray to" Mary. You ask her to pray for you. Just as we ask anyone to pray for us. " The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." - James 5:16

And these prayers of the saints are testified of also in Revelation: "And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints." - Rev 5:8

Yes, yes.. you're the right one, and billions of Christians for 2000 years are all wrong, even when Christ promised them that the Holy Spirit would lead them into all truth. They died in countless numbers, and fought the good fight of faith. What have you done?

He's still the mediator for all Christians. And asking fellow Christians for prayer is common to Protestants too. You don't accuse them with this nonsense when they ask for help in prayer. You just single out Catholics and Orthodox. You're hypocrites. The only difference is your minds are stuck on earth. You think the Church is some thing that only exists here. But the Church is in heaven and earth.
