With all due respect to Texas. The State Legislatures have PLENARY power in appointing the electors as established in Article II Section 1 of the United States Constitution. The SCOTUS has NO Jurisdiction in this matter. PERIOD. Neither does a Governor, Sec. of State, Election Board or anyone else. I don't know what Attorney General Ken Paxton is thinking but the SCOTUS cannot order the State Legislatures to do anything.
