Texas Suit is Brilliant!

BREAKING: Texas files lawsuit directly to Supreme Court challenging election results in four states

This is a game-changer and perhaps the best constitutional means of tossing out electoral votes of those states that didn't follow their election laws.

Remember, people do not elect presidents. States do. The case of equal protection in a presidential election would most apply to a state (in this case Texas). Texas would have adequate standing to bring this case to the SCOTUS. I'm betting other states are close behind.

Texas is arguing that the contested states' election were unconstitutional (not following their own election laws). As such, allowing their electoral votes to count would deprive Texas of equal protection under the Constitution.
