I was pissed when I found out AZ Russell Bowers was chosen to sculpt the statues for the 19 Fire Fighter memorial because nobody should have profited from the loss of those men. Now I see another AZ politician made money off the deal too.

A memorial was constructed on the site where they died. It's pretty much just a circle of rocks in the middle of nowhere but a ridiculously big turnout was constructed at the entrance to the site. That construction work was done by the company owned by AZ senator Karen Fann. Karen Fann's husbands name is James McKown because they never use the same name.
