Did you see my Spacex comment in the previous bread. I think Starlink is a backup for the Submarine Fibre optic Cable network that spans the globe. I expect they will cut the cables right before they are exposed so the world goes into chaos. up until now there was no defense against a massive attack on the network, Elons system will be capable of keeping the lights on and there is very little they can do about it.
