Justice Thomas Slams Biden In PBS Documentary
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas rarely does interviews or speaks publicly about
issues facing the nation. He’s typically reserved, keeps to himself, and focuses on his handling
his duties on the nation’s highest court.
But all of that just changed after Thomas just went after former Vice President Joe Biden and
other Democrats — and he did not mince his words.
In a PBS documentary called, “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words,” Thomas sat down
for an interview and recalled the 1991 witch-hunt led against him by Biden during his
confirmation hearings.
“The idea was to get rid of me,” he said, referring to Biden’s efforts to block the U.S. Senate
from confirming him to the U.S. Supreme Court.
“And then after I was there, it was to undermine me,” he said.
Thomas said he still believes the allegations made against him by Anita Hill and the subsequent
attacks from Democrats were about his stance on abortion. He noted how the “modern-day liberal”
was his biggest obstacle and stated that Biden’s motivation was clear.
“I understand what he was trying to do. I didn’t really appreciate it,” he said.
“Do I have stupid written on the back of my shirt?” Thomas said, slamming Biden for trying to
use Hill’s sexual harassment allegations to try to get rid of him over his anti-abortion views.
Thomas continued: “People should just tell the truth: ‘This is the wrong black guy; he has to be
destroyed.’ Just say it.”
His point was that Biden, who was the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1991, led
the charge to block the Senate from confirming him because he was a black conservative who is
pro-life and vehemently against abortion.
In the film, Thomas also delivered an incredible quote about how Democrats tried to brainwash
him for years about who is his “enemy”: >>>I felt as though in my life I had been looking at
the wrong people as the people who would be problematic toward me.
We were told that “Oh, it’s gonna be the bigot in the pickup truck; it’s gonna be the Klansmen;
it’s gonna be the rural sheriff.”
But it turned out that through all of that, ultimately the biggest impediment was the modern-day
liberal. They were the ones who would discount all those things because they have one issue or
because they have the power to caricature you.
Since being confirmed by the Senate, Thomas has had a distinguished career as arguably the most
conservative member of the Supreme Court. He is beloved by constitutionalists and hated by the left.

"One of the things you do in hearings is you have to sit there and look attentively at people you know have no idea what they're talking about."
