Got a feeling he's a peripheral player. I think the real target is Harris. Next stepping stone will be Schiff. Good guys are cutting off the information flow, and these guys are worthless if they can't provide info.
As a hedge, the flip side could be that Swalwell is a feint, in the sense that bad guys will prove he is innocent and the charges are bunk. That will inoculate anyone else form a Chinese spy accusation in a Biden admin.
Going with my first hunch, though.I think Harris will dig in, whereas Biden will toss it in when he realizes it's over. So good guys are going to take out Harris's lieutenants until the only one left who could be passing info is Harris herself.
