If we believe in the Trinity; Father, Son & Holy Spirit. One God, (a mystery beyond our comprehension) then Jesus is God and God is Jesus.

All existing for all eternity. Begotten, not made. Alpha and Omega. First and Last. etc, etc, etc…

And Jesus is fully human, in order to be the perfect example of how to live. (ex: He prayed to God in the garden.) And God accomplished that by creating Mary, conceived without sin, a pure vessel, for His Son. Mary’s unique relationship with each person in the Holy Trinity (daughter, spouse and mother) is the reason she is venerated (NOT worshiped). Her “yes” and the Word became flesh.
