Mr Obama will arrive in India on Saturday for the first leg of an Asian tour.

But as well as the usual security measures that come with welcoming a a visiting dignitary, Indian authorities have decided to go one step further, by removing all natural threats to the president as well.

All coconuts around the city's Gandhi museum, one of Mr Obama's stops in the city, are being taken down.

Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his freedom struggle against the British, is among five places the US president is visiting in Mumbai.

"We told the authorities to remove the dry coconuts from trees near the building. Why take a chance?" Mani Bhavan's executive secretary, Meghshyam Ajgaonkar, told the BBC.

Obama 2010 trip to India –3days

On his foreign trip, the longest of his presidency so far, Mr Obama's business-first message is aimed particularly at India, where he is spending three full days.

That's the longest amount of time in any one country on a trip that's also taking him to Indonesia, where he lived for four years as a youth, to South Korea for a meeting of the Group of 20 developed and developing nations and then to Japan for an American Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.

The White House is going to great lengths to bring attention to the economic potential and shared democratic values that define its relationship with India and its 1.2 billion residents.

But serious disagreements remain, and they appear unlikely to be resolved during Mr Obama's visit.

India has raised concerns about the billions of dollars in military aid the US is funnelling to Pakistan, which is India's arch-rival but a linchpin for Washington and its allies in the war in Afghanistan

JFK files show the FBI to have been corrupt. Corruption continued even though they said it would end.

Corruption never stopped.

The memo release will prove it.
