Spiritual Clarity (a moral compass)
All is lived, or it’s opposite, devil. You can live, or it’s opposite, evil. Letters and their direction, are important, for understanding.
A little definition applied to some terms found throughout the web regarding spirit. Dusting off a bit of the old vagueness.
Knowing that ‘Spirit’ is how one thinks. Feel free to relace any instance of the word ‘Spiritual’ below, with the words Cognitive or Cognition.
Spiritual Retreat:
A place requiring minimal cognitve corrections for external influences.
Spiritual Wound:
A troubling / disturbing doubt (an unknown).
Un-corrected external influence that disrupts self-directed patterns of thought. This usually occurs when the rate of external influence exceeds the ability of the mind to apply corrections. Or through mental fatigue from the same and other causes. Method of creating doubt?
Spiritual Awakening:
The realization that one can care for, defend and grow their own cognitive / mental abilities.
Spiritual Healing:
The use of the skills gained from ‘awakening’ to correct past ‘spiritual wounds’ (doubts / unknowns) and prevent them from forming in the future.
Spiritual Combat:
Thoughts and actions used in preserving and defending the stability of one’s self-directed patterns of thought.
Spiritual Enlightenment:
The realization that one can use words to describe and teach to others the same that was learned. This to increase one’s own knowledge and understanding. Also includes the use of one’s thoughts and actions toward the preservation and defense of the stability of other’s self-directed patterns of thought. Paying it forward.
Spiritual Person:
One who pursues the attainment of this knowledge, understanding, wisdom and its inclusion into their day to day existence.
Realm / Abode of Spirit:
A place, literal or abstract, where the preferred patterns of thought can extend to their fullest. Often found at a Retreat, but can be anywhere according to one’s own needs.
Spiritual Journey:
The life and its experiences of the Spiritual Person.
Spiritual Path:
The practices of the Spiritual Person.
Spiritual Experience:
The profound moments of clarity, understanding, etc.. that occur during Spiritual Healing or along the Spiritual Path of one’s Spiritual Journey.
Spirit Guide:
Some thing, thought, idea or concept.
Specific or undefined.
That is used as a reference or indicator toward the general direction of one’s growth.
Spiritual Wellness:
The result of the practices described above.
Spiritual Distress:
Increasing instability in the patterns of thought.
If uncorrected, leads to mental fatigue and then the formation of ‘doubt’ / Spiritual Wound. Or Spiritual Scratch depending on importance.
Important:
Only the individual can determine what their efforts have proven true. Without this, others will determine truth for them. A benefit to this, is knowing what is worth the effort of validation.
If it was not worthy of your effort, how could it be worthy of others? This makes for a good moral compass. Like recognizes Like. Similiar knows Similar.
