Supreme Court Flooded with Filings in Texas Challenge to Voting Procedures

The Supreme Court has been flooded with filings since Texas launched its case against Pennsylvania and three other states on Monday night, increasing the likelihood that the Court will finally hear a challenge to the 2020 presidential election results.

As Breitbart News was first to report, Texas sued Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, arguing that they had made changes to their voting process outside their respective state legislatures, which the Constitution says must control the selection of presidential electors. Texas also argued that there were differences in voting procedures within these states, in violation of the Equal Protection Clause. And it also argued that there were irregularities that resulted from these violations.

In addition to the original filing by the State of Texas, there are other filings, including:

A motion to intervene by President Donald Trump

An amici curiae (“friends of the court”) brief by Missouri, on behalf of itself and “Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia” in support of Texas’s case

An amici curiae brief filed by Carter Phillips and other “Never Trump” Republican opponents of the president, supporting Pennsylvania and the defendant states

An amici curiae brief filed by Roy Moore and other “constitutional attorneys” in support of the Texas case.

An amicus curiae brief filed by Arizona, urging the Court to act quickly

Responses to the Texas filing by each of the defendant states

An amici curiae brief filed by the District of Columbia and “States and territories of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Guam, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington” in support of Pennsylvania and the defendant states

A motion by Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Utah to intervene as plaintiffs

Two amicus curiae motions by members of the Pennsylvania house and senate, respectively, urging the Court to take the Texas case

An amicus curiae motion by the Christian Family Coalition in support of the Texas case

An amici curiae brief by the speaker and majority leader of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in support of the Texas case

A motion by “state legislators and voters” represented by the Justice Foundation and the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, seeking to intervene and join the case as plaintiffs; their complaint was also filed

An amici curiae brief by 105 Republican members of the House of Representatives

An amici curiae brief by elected officials from four states in support of the Texas case

An amicus curiae brief by the City of Detroit in support of Pennsylvania and the defendants

An amicus curiae brief by the Justice and Freedom Fund in support of the Texas case

The sheer scale of filings in just three days — including from Democrats and groups on the left — for a case that the Supreme Court has not yet said it will hear may increase the chance that it will do so.

The Pennsylvania filing calls the Texas lawsuit a “seditious abuse of the judicial process,” prompting a shocked response from constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley: “Filing with the Supreme Court is the very antithesis of sedition.”

Did John Adams write the Pennsylvania brief calling the Texas lawsuit a "seditious abuse of the judicial process?" Sedition seems the rage on both sides these days. https://t.co/i58EOc4WL6 Filing with the Supreme Court is the very antithesis of sedition. https://t.co/gZCTyYrTQ7

— Jonathan Turley (@JonathanTurley) December 11, 2020

Pennsylvania’s attorney general, Josh Shapiro, whose name is on the filing, raised eyebrows and prompted calls for his resignation when he declared in advance of Election Day that Trump did not have the votes to win the state.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen to move to Miami’s ‘billionaire’s bunker’

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen will be Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s new neighbors on Indian Creek Island, also known as the “billionaire’s bunker” in Miami, Page Six can reveal.

The couple, who are currently renting Derek Jeter’s sprawling Jetersville mansion in Tampa, have bought 26 Indian Creek for more than $17 million.

They plan to demolish the current house on the property and and build their dream home in the vein of the Architectural Digest-covered mansion in Brentwood, CA, that they sold to Dr. Dre.

Tampa Bays Buccaneers QB Brady was seen at the property in recent weeks, sailing in on his 40-foot super-yacht Viva a Vida.

Their close friends, supermodel Adriana Lima as well as billionaire Jeff Soffer already both live on the island, although we are told that Lima is looking to sell up.

Other wealthy residents on the exclusive enclave include Julio Iglesias, former Sears CEO Eddie Lampert and billionaire Carl Icahn.

As we revealed, Kushner and Trump have splashed out $31 million on a plot of land on Indian Creek which has 13 full-time police — as well as marine guards — for just 29 residences, sparking local gossip about which school their three kids could attend.

Meanwhile, we’re told Brady and Bundchen are building an environmentally-friendly mansion on the island. They’re both avid design fans — even fanatical “about their doorknobs”, with Gisele particularly keen on ensuring all their properties are ecologically sound.

“They like to build from the ground up,” a source said. “Look at their Brookline home, this will be like that.”

This week, the Post’s Jennifer Gould reported they’re about to complete a deal to sell their Tribeca pad for $40 million.

We’re also told they are now also looking to buy again in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the property market in Miami is getting even hotter after Bloomberg reported that Goldman Sachs is looking to move its asset division HQ to Southern Florida.

Nelson Gonzalez, Sr. Vice President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, and one of Miami Beach’s top realtors specializing in luxury real estate, told Page Six that the Miami market has gone “crazy” over the past few months.

He said: “Everyone wants to be in Miami — they’re coming from New York and California. The market is crazy right now, there are a lot of hedge fund managers and Silicon Valley buyers who have moved down here and with Goldman Sachs looking to set up shop it’s only going to get busier.”

Reps for Tom and Gisele declined to comment.

Arizona Democrats, Media In Bed With Trans Antifa Rioter Who Claims He Had ‘Ministroke’ From COVID

National File has investigated the deep links between Behrens and Arizona Democrats and the media

National File can exclusively reveal that top Arizona Democrats and mainstream media reporters have strong ties to Riley Behrens, a transgender man arrested multiple times for Antifa-related riots and accused of gang activity.

Behrens garnered fawning national and international media coverage last week after allegedly suffering a “ministroke” after testing positive for COVID-19.

At only 23 years old, Behrens told local and national media that their COVID-19 “ministroke” is proof that young people should take the disease seriously.

“It’s time to start taking this more seriously than a lot of people have,” Behrens told CNN.

Riley Behrens, a 23-year-old rugby player, suffered a ministroke stemming from Covid-19 complications.

“I thought if I get sick, if I test positive, I'm just going to have a little bit of trouble but I'll be OK. And I was not OK.” https://t.co/w5TLuuDe9N pic.twitter.com/spNxJdABlt

— CNN (@CNN) December 4, 2020

“It’s important to remember that COVID-19 can impact anyone, young or old, and have long-lasting effects,” said Arizona Senator-elect Mark Kelly, sharing a Fox 10 Phoenix article about Behrens. “To protect our community, we must keep doing everything we can to stop the spread.”

However, the mainstream media failed to acknowledge not only that Behrens is an active Antifa member who has been involved in multiple riots, but he also works in politics, being an active organizer and campaigner for Arizona Democrats. In addition, Behrens has strong ties to local media.

Riley Behrens appeared on CNN last week. He's been charged with assisting a criminal gang, aggravated assault w. deadly weapon, riot, obstruction of a highway and unlawful assembly in connection with an October ANTIFA riot in Phoenix pic.twitter.com/gs6iPQAHGV

Behrens grew up in San Francisco, and seemingly moved to Arizona some time in mid to late 2018 following a short stint serving in the California National Guard. In their Twitter bio they claim to have just started a masters at Harvard University, currently taking online classes. National File did not receive a response from Harvard when attempting to verify Behrens’ enrollment.

In this year alone, Behrens participated in five violent riots, and was arrested during three of them.

It is slightly surprising that the media failed to mention Behrens’ activity in violent riots, given a short online search would have shown multiple news articles about their arrests. Fox 10 Phoenix, in particular, covered Riley being arrested in late October, just over a month before publishing their recent article regarding Behrens’ coronavirus experience.

National File understands that Behrens is currently facing multiple charges regarding their most recent riot activity, including unlawful assembly, criminal damage, and hindering prosecution of others. Additionally, Behrens is being charged as a gang member for his participation in Antifa riots.

Pilot Dies in Michigan F-16 Fighter Jet Crash

The pilot of an F-16 Fighting Falcon that crashed earlier this week in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has been found dead, the Air National Guard announced Thursday.

The aircraft, assigned to the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing, out of Truax Field Air National Guard Base in Madison, crashed around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Hiawatha National Forest, roughly 300 miles northeast of the base, officials said in a Facebook post.

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss," 115th Fighter Wing commander Col. Bart Van Roo said in the announcement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. The 115th Fighter Wing and the entire Wisconsin National Guard stands with the pilot's family as we grieve the loss of a great Airman, and patriot."

The pilot's identity is being withheld until family can be notified, the Guard said.

The crash happened during a routine training mission Tuesday evening. Officials with the 115th had said on Sunday that the wing was conducting night drills Monday through Thursday, and that residents should expect to see aircraft flying in the area.

Local emergency responders, the Coast Guard, additional Air Force units and other government agencies initiated immediate search-and-rescue efforts on the ground, in the air, and in the water following the crash.

The crash is under investigation.

"We are an extremely close knit group at the fighter wing, [and] the loss of one of our own brings immeasurable sadness to every member of our organization," Roo said.

In June, 1st Lt. David Schmitz, of the 77th Fighter Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, died after attempting to land at the end of an F-16 nighttime qualification sortie. The Air Force found that Schmitz could not recover the jet after he severely damaged the aircraft's landing gear upon touching down, but added that there were additional contributing factors that led to his death – including an ejection attempt that failed because of a seat malfunction.

In 2017, the Air Force announced that Truax Field would join Burlington Air National Guard Base in Vermont and Dannelly Field in Alabama to host the F-35A Joint Strike Fighter. The base is slated to receive the stealth fighter jet in 2023.

Leaked audio catches Joe Biden admitting Republicans 'beat the hell out of' Democrats over the 'Defund the Police' slogan

Biden tried to reassure civil rights leaders that he was on board

Former Vice President Joe Biden was caught in a leaked audio admitting that Republicans "beat the hell out of" Democrats by using the "Defund the Police" slogan to scare voters away from supporting the party at the ballot box.

The audio was leaked from a private "listening session" made on Tuesday with civil rights leaders.

"I also don't think we should get too far ahead of ourselves on dealing with police reform in that, because they've already labeled us as being 'defund the police.' Anything we put forward in terms of the organizational structure to change policing, which I promise you will occur, promise you," said Biden on the leaked audio.

"Just think to yourself and give me advice if we should do that before January 5th, because that's how they beat the living hell out of us across the country, saying that we're talking about defunding the police," he continued.

"We're not," Biden added. "We're talking about holding them accountable."

A Biden transition official released a statement defending the comments.

"President-elect Biden is the same person behind closed doors that he is public; honest, direct and realistic about the challenges facing our nation the day he is sworn in," the statement read.

"As he made clear throughout the campaign, he believes in supporting bold and urgent reform to our criminal justice system while continuing to support law enforcement's mission to keep our communities safe," the statement concluded.

Not surprisingly, leaders from the "Black Lives Matter" organization complained that they had not been invited to the private meeting where Biden talked down the "Defund the Police" slogan.

Biden's leaked commentary is the latest in a heated battle between centrist moderate establishment Democrats and their far left progressive counterparts.

In another leaked audio from a caucus phone conference after the election, Democratic leaders berated those members who used far left rhetoric for feeding into the narratives created by the right to defeat Democrats in moderate districts.

Despite polling predictions that Democrats would significantly increase their power in the U.S. House of Representatives and a systemic scheduling advantage in the 2020 election, Democrats suffered significant losses that had many questioning their leadership.

China's extensive 'honey trap' spy network could involve thousands of ploys underway now, ex-operative says

'There are many more of these women out there,' retired CIA officer Daniel Hoffman says

It is the stuff of a James Bond blockbuster: a young, attractive woman lures a rising political star into a romantic web, all the while collecting critical information to trickle back to her handler or big bosses back home.

Axios revealed this week that more than six years ago Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., began a relationship with a woman suspected of being a Chinese espionage operative. He was alerted by federal investigators in 2015 and given a "defense briefing," which resulted in him breaking off ties to the suspect.

However, Swalwell wouldn't be the first or last political figure to be "honey-trapped" – with multiple former intelligence officials surmising that such schemes carried out by Chinese spies have long played out on U.S. soil, and remain ongoing.

"I can say with a high level of confidence that there are many more of these women out there," Daniel Hoffman, a retired CIA Senior Clandestine Services Officer, told Fox News. "China's MO is to flood the zone."

While several current and former intelligence and security officials and experts interviewed by Fox News said that it was impossible to put a number on just how many honey trap scenarios might be in motion at present, one former defense and intelligence operative noted that it could be well into the hundreds – if not thousands. Such spies are assumed to be at top universities, known to speak perfect English, and routinely use social media platforms such as Linkedin and Facebook to connect with their prey.

But it is not only about enmeshing big names – it is about having an eye for talent, and starting when one's star is about to begin rising.
