Well, guess what … Maybe it was “looking” for Sauron. The Palantir was a link from Sauron (who had one Palantir) to whomever held another.
So, who is Saruman in this scenario and how many other Palantir links are still being viewed?
And, does this make Kappy the hobbit “Pippin” ?
