Honestly, much longer, depending on how far down the rabbit hole you are going.
If it is collusion of a religious vein, then Catholicism, and our disconnect from God/All (pope being the voice of god on this plane) and subjugation of the masses, this would have begun around emporor Justinian and most likely onward.
I know we have been given a short sheeting on our spirituality, and our own capabilities, but who can say how much we have actually missed/lost out on due to being kept from our connection, and having our understanding and purpose on this planet/plane kept from us.
This is an old pattern, only been repeating since the dawn of time; ego, and the want of power and control.
Sad… being well off means nothing if you don't have love and joy.
