Nothing Herod did could stop the coming of the Messiah. None of his sorcerers, nor his evil slaughters of innocent children, none of his riches or foot soldiers. The Pharisees too were thwarted to stop the fulfillment of the prophecy of their very own scriptures. At every step of the way, God wins. When the enemy appears to gain any material advantage, it is only by the grace of God himself. The stars, the atoms, the angels, the demons, all heed God. Such is His almighty power. The story is already written. And so you see, we've already won. We only need to fight. Because we are all enlisted, whether we currently know it or not.
