Ivermectin is used as microfilaricidal- as is HCQ.
Veterinarianon here- I suspect it is more likely the microfilarcidal effect- Similar to HCQ.
Microfilaria are baby worms that travel in the bloodstream- like juvenile heartworms in dogs or malaria…transmitted by blood sucking insects… in particular, mosquitoes.
