If that is the plan, maybe it will work, maybe it won't. I am going to fight. If they have to kill me to keep control of their plan, it is what it is.
This idea that we are supposed to give endless concessions to the compromised and ignorant is one that eventually leads to us saying "well, surely, once we are all in the gulag, we will be on the same page."
That's cool and all, and quite possibly true. But by then we have sold all of our rights and defenses for the virtue of unity and lost all capability to affect liberty.
This kind of view is only possible if you believe it impossible for evil to win. Evil wins all the time because good people often rely on the hubris that their god will protect them from predators while the evil believe their god endorses predation. The "good" reason that God values meekness and disdains violence while the evil embrace it. And, shocker, very rarely is it the case that a god literally comes down and dicks down an evil empire. The evil ones have gods who vindicate selfish action of the individual and indulgence of the body. This means they don't expect evil gods to reward them with magic injustice - they believe in taking action on their own.
Do not think we have an ulimited window in which to act. The surveillance state is total. The control over food is becoming total. The control over reproduction is becoming total.
There is a point at which recover is not possible for the human species.
