It’s not mere crime. It all goes to the heart of National Security. The “civilian” agencies cannot be trusted and nothing of momentous significance for the integrity of the Republic would be left in their hands by any rational actor. So it must be down to military intelligence - there is no other resource. But now is the time for all that work to be acted upon here at home.
