Allegedly Roberts bullies them with the idea they'd be responsible for the ensuing deaths / suffering by means of the predicted riots.
So that's giving in to blackmail, right there, which was already pointed out.
But farther, Wouldn't it have been good if were widely known that to deny DJT POTUS his day in Court would cause Civil War? Isn't that worse than riots?
