At a meeting in August of 2019, Allegheny County Executive & ranking Democrat on the board of elections, Rich Fitzgerald met with Chinese Consul General Huang Ping to discuss US-Chinese diplomatic relations & trade policy disputes between the two nations.

Guess which side Fitzgerald came down on.

The Chinese Communist Party said this about the meeting:

‘…County Executive Fitzgerald warmly welcomed Huang Ping. They said that China was an important partner of Pittsburgh, and it was important for Pittsburgh and Allegheny county governments to develop and deepen friendship and collaboration with China…’

The CCP is our number one geopolitical foe. They are responsible for unleashing Covid 19 on the US and the world.

Our intelligence community unanimously agreed that the CCP hid the danger which made the problem exponentially worse. They put people in concentration camps. They are responsible for horrible human rights abuses. The CCP’s primary political goal is to destroy the United States of America and become the world’s lone super power.

This should go without saying, but it is unacceptable for our leaders local, state, or federal, to meet with high ranking CCP officials to try and undermine official US policy.
