Brian Kemp Gave Dominion $107 Million Contract After Meeting Chinese Consul

The mysterious state contract raise many questions about Kemp's conduct.

Disgraced Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) gave Dominion Voting Systems a $107 million state contract just two weeks after meeting Li Qiangmin, the Houston Consul General of the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Tennessee Star, the meeting took place in Atlanta on July 12, 2019. Just 17 days later, Kemp, then serving as the Georgia Secretary of State, awarded the contract for the 2020 elections to Dominion Voting Systems.

Dominion was purportedly brought in to introduce a “verified paper ballot system” before the Democratic presidential primaries in March 2020.

Dominion, which has been accused of flipping Trump votes to Biden, has close ties to the Chinese government, with an SEC filing revealing that the China-linked UBS Securities LLC entity sent $400 million to Dominion in 2018.

Three of the four board members at the New York-based UBS Securities LLC are Chinese, and UBS’s China subsidiary is partially owned by the Chinese government.

Previously, the National Pulse reported that Andy Huang, the Core Infrastructure Manager of Information Technology at Dominion Voting Systems, previously worked at the state-owned China Telecom.

The National Pulse reports:

[T]he Department of Justice flagged the firm for “concerns that China Telecom is vulnerable to exploitation, influence, and control by the Chinese government” and how “the nature of China Telecom’s U.S. operations” provide “opportunities for Chinese state-actors to engage in malicious cyber activity enabling economic espionage and disruption and misrouting of U.S. communications.”

Huang, who fulfills the critical technology role at Dominion, worked at the Chinese firm from 1998 to 2002.

Tasks which Huang assisted with include the “Xiamen IDC Project,” the “Xiamen Metropolitan-are broadband network,” and the “OA Intranet infrastructure reformation project.”

Dominion has come under fire after it was exposed flipping votes to Biden in the critical swing state of Michigan. Although the company blamed a computer glitch, many, including prestigious conservative lawyers Sydney Powell and Lin Wood, have alleged that the company was part of a deliberate attempt to throw the election to Joe Biden.

'Merkel wants Britain to walk across broken glass': Chance of No Deal Brexit 'hits 80%' as Boris Johnson takes personal control of preparations before talks expire TODAY and UK insiders blame German intransigence

Chancellor Angela Merkel is being blamed for the European Union's hard line during Brexit deal negotiations

One source said that she was 'determined to make Britain crawl across broken glass' rather than compromise

Johnson's Whitehall intervention is aimed at protecting vital supplies of food and medicines after January 1

Will head 'super-committee' to run alongside existing No Deal preparation group chaired by Michael Gove

Boris Johnson has seized personal control of Britain's No Deal preparations as the deadline for historic talks with the EU expires today.

The move comes as Government sources put the chances of negotiations failing as high as 80 per cent, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel being blamed for the European Union's hard line.

One source said that she was 'determined to make Britain crawl across broken glass' rather than reach a compromise.

Mr Johnson's Whitehall intervention is aimed at protecting vital supplies of food and medicines after January 1. He will head a new 'super-committee' to run alongside the existing No Deal preparation group chaired by Michael Gove.

The Prime Minister and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have agreed to take a firm decision on the future of the talks today – although they could theoretically continue up until Christmas Day, with the Commons even sitting on Boxing Day to put any deal on to the statute book.

Mr Johnson is, however, adamant that the UK will not go back to the negotiating table after December 31, when the Brexit transition period expires.

Talks were continuing into this morning, but one Government source said: 'As things stand, the offer on the table from the EU remains unacceptable. The Prime Minister will leave no stone unturned in this process, but he is absolutely clear: any agreement must be fair and respect the fundamental position that the UK will be a sovereign nation in three weeks' time. If they want a deal, it has to be now.'

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab this morning suggested that EU intransigence was being driven by Brussels' fears of UK success in the future.

'He told Sky's Ridge on Sunday: 'I think the Eu is concerned that actually Britain might do rather well once we leave the EU and is worried about the competitive advantage, even on the normal global rules that apply.'

He also suggested that the talks could continue after today if there is some progress.

Axios Reporter Laments China Not Overtaking US As ‘Better, Fairer’ Superpower

Bethany Allen-Ebrahimian, Axios’ primary China reporter, lamented that the Chinese Communist Party would not overtake the U.S. as a “better superpower” on Twitter.

The four-tweet threat rebuked the notion that “the Chinese government could perhaps become as good and wise as the people it governs.” A rejection of the establishment’s mindset to approaching the communist country, Allen-Ebrahimian adds, “I believe we are far, far past the point where anyone can hope that China will bring a better, fairer, and more just international system.”

Allen-Ebrahimian, who describes herself as “the China reporter at Axios,” reveals, however, that she hoped China would be a “better superpower than the U.S.”:

I want there to be a better superpower than the US has been. I want there to be a country that doesn’t act like the US too often has. But just because I want that, doesn’t mean I can fool myself into believing that China will be that better, kinder superpower.

I want there to be a better superpower than the US has been. I want there to be a country that doesn't act like the US too often has. But just because I want that, doesn't mean I can fool myself into believing that China will be that better, kinder superpower.

— B. Allen-Ebrahimian (@BethanyAllenEbr) December 12, 2020

She conflates the American government with the Chinese government, noting both aren’t “evil incarnate” before insisting again that she hoped China would be “better, fairer, [and] less violent” than the U.S.

And this isn't to say China will only bring bad. The US had done a lot of good too, despite the ill we have wrought. Nothing is so simple. But I am still seeing this hope-against-hope that Beijing might be somehow better, fairer, less violent. We are past that point, friends.

— B. Allen-Ebrahimian (@BethanyAllenEbr) December 12, 2020

The revelation comes just days after Axios published a story revealing a Chinese Communist Party-led intelligence campaign targeting U.S. lawmakers such as Eric Swalwell.

Cuomo Receives Award For ‘Inspired Leadership’ During Covid-19: Critics Question His Achievements

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo received the “Edward M. Kennedy Institute Award for Inspired Leadership” during the Covid-19 pandemic. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker will also receive the same award.

“I am honored to receive the 2020 Edward M. Kennedy Institute Award for Inspired Leadership,” tweeted Gov. Cuomo. “I learned about humanity, leadership and putting people first from the great Senator Ted Kennedy.” Guomo congratulated his fellow recipient Gov. Charlie Baker for the award.

Cuomo also received an Emmy Award for the viral press conferences he held in the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic.

But not everyone is happy with how the NY Governor has handled the virus in the state. As of December 7th, there have been 7,147 reported Covid-19 deaths in Nursing and Adult Care facilities throughout the state. Many of these critics associate Cuomo’s directive to take in Covid-19 patients back in March with thousands of deaths in nursing homes.

“Leadership is about good and sound judgment. Gov. Cuomo exercised misguided leadership. He’s responsible for this nursing home problem, and the deaths are on his hands,” Michael Caputo, assistant secretary for public affairs at the US Department of Health and Human Services, told The New York Post back in May.

Between March 25 and May 8, approximately 6,326 COVID-positive patients were admitted to nursing homes, according to a state health department report.

Despite all the critics none of these claims have ever been proven.

CAIR Holding Georgia Senate Runoff Vote-a-Thon Featuring Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Linda Sarsour

Tonight at 7 p.m. EST, the Georgia chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Georgia Muslim Voter Project (GAMVP) are hosting a virtual event “to rejuvenate Georgia Muslim Voters,” called a “Senate Runoff Vote-a-Thon.” The event is set to feature a rogues gallery of America-haters, Jew-haters, and radical Left activists, including Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Gaza) and the godmother of the sinister nexus between the hard Left and the Palestinian jihad, Linda Sarsour herself.

The event is an illuminating indication of the state of American politics today, in numerous ways.

Despite being members of the House of Representatives, Omar and Tlaib know that they will pay no political price for appearing at an event hosted by CAIR. After all, it isn’t as if they were appearing at an event for some really bad organization, such as one that opposed jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women.

In a sane world, however, appearing at a CAIR event would end one’s political career. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman, Omar Ahmad, as well as its chief spokesman, Ibrahim “Honest Ibe” Hooper, have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.)

Even worse, CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas.

CAIR is also linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, which has the stated goal (according to a captured internal document) in America of “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, and sabotaging its miserable house.” In light of that, this Georgia event is extremely interesting. Likewise interesting are some of the other speakers, which include the imam Suhaib Webb, an American convert to Islam who has served as the imam at the Islamic Society of Boston, which the Boston Marathon jihad bombers attended. In December 2017, Webb retweeted a tweet by the atheist Islamic apologist C. J. Werleman, saying that it is “impossible to argue the United States is not the greatest source of evil in the world today.” At a 2013 CAIR event, Webb called secularism a “lunatic ideology,” raising questions about his commitment to the First Amendment principle of the non-establishment of religion – questions that he is certain never to be asked by any establishment media “journalist.”

Top senator reveals Democrat push to impeach Trump led to discovery of key Hunter Biden information

'That whole issue was brought forth during the impeachment'

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, revealed Sunday that Democrats' push to impeach Donald Trump led to the discovery of key Hunter Biden information.

Democrats conducted an investigation into Trump last year over allegations that he engaged in a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian president by threatening to withhold military aid if Ukraine did not investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

Ultimately, the House, which is controlled by Democrats, voted to impeach Trump. However, the Republican-controlled Senate acquitted the president.

Meanwhile, the Bidens were swept into the controversy when Hunter Biden's work for Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings was scrutinized.

Joe Biden later added fuel to the fire with an apparent admission that, when he was vice president, he persuaded then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko into firing Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma. Biden's admission came during a 2018 Council on Foreign Relations event.

"I said, 'You're not getting the billion,'" Biden explained. "I'm going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: 'I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money.'"

"Well, son of a b****, he got fired," Biden bragged. "And they put in place someone who was solid at the time."

What did Johnson say?

Speaking with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures," Johnson explained that his committee never "targeted the Bidens" — but only uncovered key information about Hunter Biden's overseas business dealings as a result of the push to impeach Trump.

"When I met with the attorney general, it was really talking about the corrupt FBI investigation relating to the Russian hoax, so I don't believe I ever really talked about our investigations of Hunter Biden, which by the way we never targeted the Bidens," Johnson said.

"That whole issue was brought forth during the impeachment. That's when we started expanding our Ukrainian investigation to include his financial dealings, and then when we started seeing all these wire transfers that were connected to Hunter Biden," the Republican senator explained.

Johnson went on to express disagreement with the fact that Attorney General William Barr did not disclose the criminal investigations into Hunter Biden during Trump's impeachment.

"I'm sympathetic for keeping investigations confidential unless there's an indictment," Johnson said. "But when you're talking about investigations within the political realm, particularly one that would have affected the impeachment trial of the sitting U.S. president in the U.S. Senate, that should have been relevant information, the fact that they had Hunter Biden's computer that had all these emails back in December 2019, that was before the trial, that was part of the trial, we should have known that."

Non-essential services shut, no drinking in public & no fireworks: Germany rolls out tougher Covid-19 rules

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has ordered tougher Covid-19 restrictions after the existing measures failed to stop the spread of infections.

The new rules will take effect on December 16 and last until January 10. All non-essential shops and services, like hair salons, will be shuttered. Schools are urged to send students home and continue lessons online, while employers are asked to allow workers to work remotely.

Daycare centers will also close, but parents will be able to take paid holidays in order to look after their children. People will be banned from drinking alcohol in public and buying fireworks for New Year’s Eve.

“We were forced to act and are acting now,” Merkel told reporters, explaining that the existing measures were “not enough.”

The health system is under heavy strain and our aim has always been to avoid an overloading of the healthcare system.

Finance Minister Olaf Scholz promised that affected businesses would get up to €500,000 ($605,000) in state aid.

Germans have been living under a partial national lockdown, and it was widely expected that tougher restrictions would be announced.

Officials previously agreed to allow some leniency during the festive season. But regional leaders later called for an urgent summit in order to persuade Merkel to adopt stricter rules in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

The head of Bavaria, Markus Soeder, said that Germany “would quickly become the ‘problem child’ of all of Europe,” unless urgent steps are taken against Covid-19.

Under the new rules, close family members will still be permitted to celebrate together from December 24 to 26.

The number of new Covid-19 cases hit a record for a second day in a row in Germany, when 29,875 new infections were reported by the Robert Koch Institute on Friday.

The daily death toll nearly topped 600 on Friday, just days after Merkel delivered an impassioned speech in parliament, saying that 500 deaths per day in Germany was “a price too high” to be paid for allowing Christmas shopping.

At the same time, doctors and nurses have been telling German media that hospitals were on the verge of “collapse” due to the renewed influx of people with severe Covid-19 symptoms. “We have areas where the ICU capacity just has left 5 to 10 percent open beds. That’s not enough to cover the broad range of severely ill patients,” Uwe Janssens, the head or of the German Association of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI), told Deutsche Welle.
