So YouTube, Google, and other strategically placed search algorithms would eventually find the correct path to human existence and history over time based on the flow of scientific understanding, natural human interests, hidden and suppressed knowledge, and things proven during the given span. The density of areas of each term would act like a map, of which a seemingly infinite number of paths could be taken, but the map most likely forms symbols, of which id imagine quite a few are of ancient origin. Perhaps that would lend some understanding to it.

With social media and messaging they can observe how humans fully communicate and act, to depths you could never imagine. The universe is made of math (numbers perhaps the spiders web?), and with the math these algorithms form you understand people down to a level that is hard to describe.
The NSA and Google would have to be the best, and perhaps only, groups that could accomplish such a feat. While I am not a huge fan of intel agencies, perhaps they figured out the map long (probably an overstatement) before google did. Thus Q was born. Cryptic, but because it had to be.
