The "PHOTO" of my device shows the laptop supply plugged into the "head".
It has a paperclip wire on the left, goes OUTSIDE the glass of distilled water.
The TWO long rods are .9999 silver 12ga wire, they go INSIDE the water and an electric charge goes across them.
The electric charge "strips" silver ions from one rod and they get left in the water creating a colloidal suspension
Eventually that rod will deteriorate, so swap em half life to get best results.
WIRING
I drew a basic schematic.
REAL SIMPLE - even a liberal can do it!
(I even drew it a little drunk without any fear of it being wrong!)
you can use any voltage source (12-25vdc or so) but I had plenty of old laptop supplies laying around.
The one I chose was fitted with a common 2.1mm dc power plug that mates with a jack I broke off another device.
I chose to use a laptop supply because when I travel it also utilizes my laptop supply so TSA never even notices the silver generator!
Anyway- the schematic has a DC INPUT connector that blocky looking thing- (I never said I was an artist) if you want to omit it and screw the wires into the terminals, you would need to strip em back.
Also I highly suggest using a 220ohm resistor and LED (IN SERIES) to allow for current limiting and a little indicator that gets brighter as the silver is made.
IF you make it, and the LED don't light up, reverse it's polarity, it is neat indicator of it working alongside a current limiting device.
It runs for 15mins on a laboratory stirrer with a magnetic stirring rod inside the glass creating a little vortex tornado.
The rods in photo show wear, they have been in use for 3 years. My first set lasted 6years.
And I spray C.S. on plants to stop fungus also, so I make a lot more than just for myself.
The stirrer and rod sources are in notables from a few breads back.
(and is referenced at top of this bread)
I do however strongly recommend the "terminal strip" with screw terminals, because it keeps the rods spaced properly and allows easy rod swapping.
(remember: ONLY the silver wire should ever touch the water during production)
Godspeed and be healthy Anons!
