Anyone know what frog species that is? I guess it was just one they found and recorded, so a common North American species.

I have been listening to frogs to find the species. Many do not have a call that is a rapid and evenly-spaced series of clicks, but a couple so far have actually been pretty close.

Just an idea that has probably been explored…

The Texas Suit was meant to be rejected by SCOTUS exactly as it did. This statement of its rejection tied off a legal loose end that could have been used in part of a defense. This pertains most directly to the individuals who were merely involved in the 'new unconstitutional policy as de facto law' aspect. For future trials/tribunals, these individuals were a strategic weak link within an overall scheme of players, and the SCOTUS decision helped with this weakness. The idea that states have an internal legal responsibility places the onus purely upon the state officials.

The Texas case performed as planned, and it functioned to seal a possible legal escape hatch / dodge of responsibility.
