From Wiki:

The president-elect of the United States is the candidate who has won the United States presidential election and is awaiting inauguration to become the president. There is no explicit indication in the U.S. Constitution as to when that person actually becomes president-elect, although the Twentieth Amendment uses the term "President elect", giving the term some constitutional justification.[1][2] As an unofficial term, president-elect has been used by the media for decades. Politicians have applied the term to the declared winner, even soon after election night.[3] Joe Biden is the president-elect of the United States, having defeated incumbent Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.[4][5][6][7]

While Election Day is held in early November, formal voting by the members of the Electoral College takes place in mid-December, and the presidential inauguration (at which the oath of office is taken) is then usually held on January 20. The only constitutional provision pertaining directly to the person who has won the presidential election is their availability to take the oath of office.[1]

They wouldn't. The article goes on to say that the quality construction of the dwelling led the team to believe it was built by a very skilled carpenter. It is in the right location to have been Jesus' village, ergo it COULD HAVE been Mary and Joseph's home.

So, its a stretch.

Not many people know China has a different traditional name for California. Gam Saan, or 'gold mountain'. Anon is not sure what legends they may have about it, only that it was on their explorers' maps for a long time, and they see it as their own kind of manifest destiny.

Simple answer: difficult terrain. Anon remembers an urban planning 201 study we did many years ago as a research paper. The mountains in WV are very intense, making everything transported to, from, or thru WV come at a premium. Businesses and investors therefore ignored WV over the years, and it just became a coal resource.

The purpose of the study was "what incentivization should the govt do" to revitalize WV and attract business and industry? The answer was: "You can't. Business and Industry thrive where it is naturally most profitable."

But if you like backpacking and mountain climbing thoughโ€ฆ.
