Fortunately there are plenty of untapped sources of rare earths NEAR China. For example, Korea, Japan, Philippines. They are not the only source in town, just the more convenient source. I'd be willing to wager it is something the Q+ team considered long ago, and already has plans for.

3 Gorges is an exposed weak point that I don't know how China can get around. This is the primary reason I don't expect any kind of serious civilian attack by China on US soil. Let's say poisoning the water supply, or blowing up a nuclear storage facility. A couple well-placed cruise missiles on 3 Gorges is al the retribution we would ever need.

This is one of the rare threads on /pol/ that I am finding extremely interesting and informative. Going into the history and roots of the chinese Triad, and discussing a lineage of people who are essentially opposing the communists.

Sure, I mean hopefully some comms fags would contribute. There is a good discussion to be had on the merits of standar shortwave, vs. CB, vs. HAM. But it could encompass Sat phones and even Starlink, since that is a new thing that some people may have.
