A technology I always admired:

Lightbeam - talking on a laser.

Cannot be intercepted!

If you got stable towers, can be long distances-

They used this tech to talk across the berlin wall no interception can occur without being in the path of the beam.

Our "science" admits the sun has a corona, but fails to point out that a nuclear sun would not have such.

Interesting… until you get tossed from science class for pointing it out.

My old idea was to put identical trans units on towers, aimed at each other of course.

Then design the system to remain "off" no light at all, until either side needed to begin a transmission.

Like squelch, or standby.

No detector COULD ever sense that if it was "off" until a burst of light pulse was sent and ended.

When operating - would still be hard to detect, and if encrypted would be badass.

Never had a friend close enough to attempt making.

(have few friends and live off grid, so there's that.)

The system could work like a repeater, using a projected or painted target.

Tripod would be required, or atop a vehicle with a motorized gimbal would be plausible concept.

Q is always listening.

I would like to help make that shit…

Gimmie a call if interested.

Could also use a paintgun loaded with reflective paint to designate a target reflector…
