I hate to throw cold water on this guy especially since POTUS and our boy Ron have mentioned him fondly in tweets but……KIRKLAND AND ELLIS????

You have got to be fucking kidding me. There is a cadre of corrupt, crooked, and Deep State law firms that have run the country and been in the middle of every bankruptcy case (the corporate kind that steals money from investors and companies and re-routes it back to Wall St.), along with many other cases of law that are complete swamp-centric…and KIRKLAND AND ELLIS is absolutely one of them.

In fact, remember a few weeks ago, when a law firm representing POTUS's team against PENNSYLVANIA had to resign because she was getting harassed and threatened by Pennsylvania's SEC OF STATE legal counsel? OH guess who that legal counsel was. Yep KIRKAND AND ELLIS (Sauce-https://www.abajournal.com/news/article/lawyer-for-trump-campaign-complains-of-abusive-voicemail-from-kirkland-associate-asks-to-withdraw)

Im not stating anything that POTUS and team wouldn't already know, but I find it hard to believe that a guy who was a fucking partner there at one point, isn't a big Deep State guy. Perhaps he is paying his sentence or assuming a forced role such as Barr, but that is irresponsible for Ron or anyone else to go fawning over this guy without also bringing this up and nobody should blindly follow that tweet.

Again, perhaps he is serving his sentence and he has rolled on the many, many crimes that his "old firm" has been a part of, but Id trust this guy about as far as I could throw Chris Christie. Be careful ANONS, the Pennsylvania attorney who was threatened is enough to make you pause here and look deeper at this guy. There has to be way more to this than we know

I know you are joking but Richard Donoghue is the one who was in the 82nd Airborne. He's the "DEPUTY" Attorney General and there is no reason to think he is bad.

Who I was referring to is Jeffrey Rosen. The actual new Attorney General taking Barr's place. He's a career lawyer who has bounced in and out of that in between political appointments (in the . Bush admin)…29 years in 2 stints at Kirkland and Ellis.

Northwestern and Harvard degrees. 2 DS academia havens.

Continue with the sarcasm!….We will need it along with several bottles of liquor having to watch some of these ass holes who have been on and are on center stage!

Good points and I don't disagree with your route, it's just as much a possibility as the one I just floated. There no doubt is anyway to avoid swamp creatures at every turn. I mean Mnuchin, Wilber Ross??? Give me a break on them also. Mnuchin ran Golman Sachs who buries all the Wall St bodies, Wilbur Ross has pillaged billions away from people but I digress….He clearly is connected to Barr so the real question is are they good, or are they bad. At best they are probably "cooperating" because they are needed for the reasons you cited.
