Saw a video of US cops badgering a mom because her little girl was playing with the neighbour girl during a lockdown. The cop kept saying "Do you understand?" Finally the mom admitted she understood.

In response, an Anon posted a defense lawyer speaking and he said NEVER say you understand. This is a trap the cops set up for you. By saying you understand, you are in fact saying you KNOWINGLY COMMITTED A CRIME. So you are guilty.

Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson not seeking re-election in 2021

Over the past decade, Iveson said he’s noticed the city has changed to be more open to tackling complex issues such as ending homelessness and climate change.

Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi, who called Iveson a good friend, said he wasn’t surprised by the announcement and appreciated his reason for not seeking re-election. He said the next Edmonton mayor has some very big shoes to fill.

“Don and I have been friends for 20-plus years, long before either of us were in politics,” Nenshi said.
