It was not reduced it from 14 years in prison to 14 months, or 14 weeks, or 14 hours. They just DELETED THEY WHOLE THING.
Rob Menard told a story about one time he was in court and made a 337 demand to a judge. He said the judges face turned white and he left the room. Seems probable now.
Sure. I'm not a lawfag, but this is what I got from it.
Section 337 said if a government employee takes your stuff, and is not allowed to, and you demand it back, and they say "Fuck you, I'm the government, blow me" they were supposed to go to jail for 14 years. Now it has been totally legalized. Well, I've never heard of a government employee facing any consequences for anything, so I guess they just update the law to fit reality. Now they don't even have to pretend to have a trial.
At the same time, Trudeau made a speech banning duck guns, which have been historically legal, and you go to jail if you ignored him.
Maybe the two are related?

I am enjoying this chat and agree with most everything you've said, but, I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you on that one.
I think society is what needs healing, not criminals. Criminals need justice. Punishment. Example needs to be made.

Death is very real, so is suffering and horror. If any government has only one job it has to be to stop that wherever possible. What could be more important? You are right in that We The People can only deal with evil in this incarnation. No question. Therefore, I think we should do so as harshly and ''theatrically'' as is lawfully possible. As far as the whole karma thing goes, for murderers and kidnappers certainly, God can decide where they 'go' next. The job of earthly laws, historically anyway, has been to arrange the meeting.
