Another reason I don't think Ruby's killing of Oswald was faked was because it had the opposite effect from making people glad…the President's killer "got what he deserved". Quite the contrary - people REVILED Ruby for killing Oswald because there would never be answers from Oswald as to WHY he killed Kennedy….and that lack of answers has fueled investigations into Kennedy's death for the past 65 yrs!
I agree with you. I think there's much ado about nothing with the Oswald video. Unless you were alive then, you have NO idea what kind of turmoil Kennedy's death caused in this nation. We were seeing Russians behind every tree, certain we were seconds from being nuked off the face of the earth by those same Russians & people were TERRIFIED. To most people, Kennedy was the ONLY thing standing between us & certain destruction. The country was in absolute chaos at his loss.
Remember what 9/11 felt like at first? THAT is what America 1963 felt like after Dallas. What's our greatest fear right now? Mine is that the Deep State somehow takes Trump out & we lose. THAT is exactly what happened in 1963 so imagine the chaos this nation would be in if something happened to Trump & you'll have a better idea how seemingly stupid mistakes happened.
But you get my point….society was different but it was just as stressed, frightened & chaotic back then as we would be if Trump was taken out. People were honestly afraid that the Russians took Kennedy out & that there would be an INVASION…or worse - nukes. That kind of feat & chaos is how those stupid details get messed up.
