Yesterday people were asking about preparations / organization in case shit goes south.

While I can not speak for you, here is what I suggest.

 

If you own weapons, make sure they are clean and sights are zeroed.

If you have neighbors, find the veterans. With 14 million combat vets in the US, they are out there. They mostly live outside the cities though, and know who lives where in their area. Do not be surprised if they find you first to check on you.

Stock up food and supplies. If you run out of TP, cut up a shirt and wash the rags.

Warm clothes and blankets help stay warm, obviously. Sleep in shifts if possible for security.

ALWAYS carry a firearm and a knife on you.

Get a headlamp.

Draw or print off google maps an overhead view of your area. This helps you identify dead space (spaces where you can not see) for defensive planning.

Walkie talkies are good to have.

Go outside at night when it’s balls cold and quiet. Get used to the dark. Americans dominate at night.
