I agree that the spirit of Vatican 2 is messed up, but the actual Vatican 2 documents are wonderful. Most people who want to go pre-Vatican 2 would be the first to bitch if they had to live under it.

Much of the crap we are seeing in the church today was starting to come out pre-Vatican 2 also. If Vatican 2 didn’t happen chances are the RCC would have imploded.
