However, Barr said he concluded the CIA “stayed in its lane” before appointing U.S. Attorney John Durham as special counsel in October to investigate the Crossfire Hurricane probe.

Barr said he did not “see any sign of improper CIA activity” or “foreign government activity before July 2016.”

Okay some questions…

1) Why did Barr appoint Durham in October 2020 when Sessions had already appointed him?

2) He is saying no involvement before July 2016….so was there CIA involvement after? July 2016 always reminds of Seth Rich.

This From Wapo article in January 2020 and I’m pretty Solomon or Carter or someone had mentioned Durham in an article way before 2020…

“Huber’s assignment was separate from the ongoing investigation overseen by Durham, and Justice Department officials believe the Connecticut U.S. attorney’s work will be far more consequential. Durham is weighing whether to charge a former FBI lawyer for altering an internal email that misled other officials on a key fact related to surveillance applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. He is also looking into other issues surrounding FBI and CIA activities during the Russia investigation, according to people familiar with the matter.“
