David Ralston Alleged Blackmail Scandal?
Georgia Star News is reporting that “several GA representatives” will corroborate allegations that Speaker Ralston threatened committee seats and careers of reps voting for a special session. If the allegations are true, these threats are criminal blackmail.

I demand a criminal referral is made regarding the investigation of alleged blackmail by Speaker Ralston immediately and subpoenas be issued for testimony under oath.
The criminal term “blackmail” refers specifically to threats someone makes to gain anything of value. Blackmailing can describe any act in which one person threatens another with some type of punishment if the latter does not agree to the former’s demands (such as losing committee positions).
Many courts see blackmail as a form of extortion, and thus treat them with the same penalties. Conduct an investigation immediately!
