dude, you must of never been around any chimps, cuz they will et carrion and routinely snatch any type of small critter they can get. Protein is something most easily had through meat; ditto for fat, which we all need.

We do our own meat and have for almost 30 yrs. Raise a cow or share one out we buy; kill wild hogs for bacon and sausage, along with venison, squirrels, fish and most other meats. For bacon, we trap a small wild hog and pen them for a year, so we can get their fat up nicely before butchering.

It's NOT rocket science to do any of this, especially since we no longer hunt with spears.

now, if you are talking about CITY DWELLERS, then say that and don't just limp everyone into a category that supports your point. With 350+ million of us, lumping all together don't work - as you can clearly see across this country right now…

my ivermectin seems to have worked really well.

have never been a proponent of vaxxing - every time I got one as an adult, I was immediately sick - so what did that accomplish for me?

I did get smallpox and polio as a kid, but the entire yellow fever, etc. "overseas to 3rd world" cocktail had me in bed for almost 3 weeks…

i disagree with your article, having lived around chimps for several years, but you go ahead and believe the article if you choose to. I will caution you that if it based on lab studies or caged troops, then caveat emptor, because they are both highly conditioned when compared to wild types.

What made me switch to our own meat, (which btw takes at least a couple of weekends every month) was having to walk into the back of McD's and seeing boxes labeled "meat product" and "egg product". And then the crazy gas it generated in me every.single.time…

In a way, I agree with the Karma issue - if you are unwilling to go through the messiness of killing and butchering - then you are skating away from your Karma, which never works.

We grow and let loose ducks, quail, chickens - several other animals. We have bat houses up for insect control. We don't kill coyotes, but we do eliminate feral hogs, as they tear up our savanna land with their rooting, making it dangerous to walk or run horses.

I think people should be free to eat what they want, as much as they want. Obesity is one of those totally preventable things caused by modern culture, along with all that comes with it. If people want to live obese, then they should. If idiots want to fry turkeys in their mobile homes, then they should be free to do so.

Basically, I believe that consequences are essential to a good and decent life - and it's quite the thing when you watch how many lives are wasted trying to run from them.
