Trappy is an interesting term; I'm studying out of "My Great Predecessors" by former world chess champion Garry Kasparov, and happen to be on Game 18: Johannes Zukertort - William Steinitz, game 9 of the 1886 WC match.

On move 24, Kasparov gives the alternative rook move 24.Rh3, and calls it "trappy", and I came across it only yesterday
