Democrats Relying on Results of Mass Immigration to Flip Georgia Blue

Democrats in Georgia are relying on the results of decades of mass immigration to the United States to help flip the state blue for Democrat Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in the upcoming runoff election.

Democrat activists, according to Politico, are closely targeting Georgia’s most booming demographic: Asian Americans. The group has increased their share of the state’s population, mostly due to the annual admission of about 1.2 million legal immigrants a year, by nearly 105 percent since the year 2000 and more than 290 percent since 1990, according to Census Bureau data.

Some 30,000 Asian American voters in Georgia voted for the first time in their lives last month, a notable figure, considering that Biden won by little more than 11,000 votes in the state. Nationally, Asian Americans voted for Biden by roughly a 2 to 1 margin, according to exit polls. And turnout among Asian Americans exceeded 2016 totals in every battleground state except Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, according to Tom Bonier, CEO of the Democratic firm TargetSmart. More than 70,000 Georgia Asians who voted in this year’s presidential election didn’t vote in 2016, according to TargetSmart data. And Asian American advocacy organizations who support Democrats are trying to make it happen again in the Jan 5, Senate runoffs in the state. [Emphasis added]

In 2000, Asians accounted for 2.1 percent of Georgia’s population. In 1990, they accounted for just 1.1 percent of the state’s population. By 2020, though, their share has increased to 4.3 percent and in counties like Forsyth and Gwinnett, they account for 14.5 percent and 12.4 percent of all residents.

The New York Times and a Washington Post columnist have recently acknowledged that Democrats are leaning heavily on the results of mass immigration to Georgia to flip the state blue as they have done in Virginia and Orange County, California.

Democrats Seek to Permanently Add Foreign Workers to U.S. Labor Market

A group of House Democrats is seeking to permanently add foreign workers to the United States labor market by opening American citizenship to those who would otherwise be asked to return to their native countries after their visa expires.

Led by Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX), the House Democrats have introduced legislation that ties increased labor protections for American workers — forced to compete against an annual inflow of foreign workers — to permanently adding H-2B foreign visa workers to the labor market.

The plan would provide tens of thousands of H-2B foreign visa workers, and their family members, a path to American citizenship after they have worked at least 18 months in the U.S. Likewise, H-2B foreign visa workers who have worked at least three years in the U.S. would be able to apply for green cards as well as their family members.

While awaiting green cards, the plan allows H-2B foreign visa workers and their family members to remain in the U.S. and apply for advanced parole so they cannot be deported unless they are eventually considered ineligible for green cards.

Such a plan would come as at least 24.5 million Americans are jobless or underemployed, but all want full-time jobs with good pay and competitive benefits.

The massive foreign worker-to-labor market pipeline is coupled with a series of increased reforms to ensure labor protections for Americans seeking blue-collar jobs and foreign workers applying for H-2B visas.

For instance, the plan would demand that U.S. businesses meet enhanced requirements to certify they are not discriminating against Americans and engage with labor unions to search for available and willing Americans.

The plan also increases the wage standards of the H-2B visa program. Whereas U.S. businesses currently use the program to undercut U.S. wages, the plan would mandate that prevailing wages are promised to H-2B foreign visa workers in their contracts and allocates the visas based on the highest offered wages.

The H-2B visa program has been widely used by businesses to drag down the wages of American workers in landscaping, conservation work, the meatpacking industry, the construction industry, and fishing jobs, a 2019 study from the Center for Immigration Studies finds.

When comparing the wages of H-2B foreign workers to the national wage average for each blue-collar industry, about 21 out of 25 of the industries offered lower wages to foreign workers than Americans.

In the construction industry, wage suppression is significant, with H-2B foreign workers being offered more than 20 percent less than their American counterparts. In the fishing industry, foreign workers were offered more than 30 percent less for their jobs than Americans in the field. In the meatpacking industry, foreign workers got 23 percent less pay than Americans.

Every year, the U.S. admits about 1.2 million legal immigrants on green cards to permanently resettle in the country. In addition, another 1.4 million foreign workers are admitted every year to take American jobs.

REPORT: Chinese Spies In Afghanistan Liaising With Taliban To ‘Sabotage’ Peace Talks, Track Uyghurs

A host of Chinese Communist Party intelligence operatives tasked with tracking and monitor Uighur activists who’ve fled China and “sabotage” ongoing peace talks have been exposed in Afghanistan, according to reports.

The news, reported by Zee News of India, alleged that the “Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) recently uncovered a dense network of Chinese spies.” The article documents the arrest of several spies such as Li Yangyang, who was harboring “arms, ammunition, and explosives, including Ketamine powder” and Sha Hung, who had “explosives and other highly objectionable material.” An additional seven spies were arrested.

Li and Sha were “kingpins of an espionage network” that had been meeting with commanders of Haqqani Network, an offshoot of the Taliban, according to Afghan officials.

The report continues, alleging that the Chinese Communist Party and its spies have been collaborating with Pakistani militants “to sabotage the Afghan peace talks and establish themselves in a dominant position and influence Afghanistan through Taliban and Al-Qaeda after withdrawal of US security forces.”

“They have also highlighted that Chinese spies have been meeting Talibani commanders to track and monitor the Uighur activists and fighters who have fled to Afghanistan or to West Asia and were reporting the same to the Chinese government,” the report noted.

A source informed Zee News that “Chinese spies were working on a project to target and eliminate Uighur leaders in Afghanistan through terrorists to ensure abandonment of the rebel movement against the Chinese Communist Party.”
