You’ll get a bunch of different answers on this. Eschatology has as many variations as you can imagine. The most popular view in our time is Dispensationalism, which basically outlines a scenario where the Antichrist comes on the scene initially as a peacemaker then his true agenda comes out and he does what you’d expect. Everyone has to take his mark in their hand or forehead or they can’t buy or sell and some will be martyrs. His rein is 7 years. Some believe Christians will be raptured before the 7 years, some believe it happens in the middle, some think it’s at the end, and some don’t believe in the rapture at all.

Then you have partial preterism and they believe much of endtime prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD, and only some will happen at the end of this age. It’s more involved than that but it’s another view.
