At every step of the way since 2016, POTUS has never forced his will on Congress. He always lets them mess around, reveal themselves, and in the end they choose what he wanted. Think of military funding, border wall, supreme court picks, the sham impeachment, and many others.

My theory is Congress will end up endorsing POTUS's second term. I don't know how yet. Either it will come to a vote and they will choose him, or exposed congressment will get arrested and the part will revolt against itself, IDK. But this has been Trump's method. Let the enemy destroy itself.

Watching them re-elect Trump is going to be so sweet. I don't think he will need to resort to Pence, or declare any suspension of process, etc.
