I once saw Hulk Hogan get out of a Greg the Hammer Valentine applied figure 4 leg lock. I thought for sure the title was going to be surrendered. Nobody gets out of the figure 4!

Hulk miraculously was able to grasp the ring rope causing the ref to make the Hammer break the hold.

Once free, Hulkamania ripped through the crowd as Hogan slammed the Hammer, dropped a knee, and got the 3-count.
