Actually what happened is I went to sit on my front door steps to have a smoke when all of a sudden something pitch black flew right in front of my face extremely fast. I went to swat it but was nowhere near the speed.
After thinking about it, I thought a bat? But I said no it had the wings of a dove. From the angle it came and went, it had to have hit my house. I didn't hear a collision then just smoked for about five minutes. All of a sudden it flew again in front of my face from the opposite path it came. This time it had more of the appearance of a man with butterfly wings, without a doubt.
It's true we are not alone. I saw that same being flying around in the summer at around 600mph, yet it was much smaller, the size of a bird. But when I saw the one at night it was the size of a small hawk.
