"Collective Soul" is kind of a Satanic/Luciferian concept, like the Borg from Star Trek. The Borg collective is represented by the Saturnian/Satanic cube, so that there's no mistaking the meaning if you understand the symbolism. "Saturn (cube)"="Collective Soul". The Luciferian/Satanic/Saturnian initiation for whatever reason binds one to the collective. In Stephen King's terminology, these people "shine" with each other, i.e. are illuminated and can have whole conversations without even speaking … not coincidentally, "Shine" is one of Collective Soul's hits, and is a thinly disguised tribute to, ahem, illumination.
